Hartford County resident Brianna Bushey, age 23, of South Windsor, was arrested Saturday, May 22 on an active warrant.

Bushey’s charges stem from a March investigation in which the police department located several undelivered packages with Somers, Connecticut addresses on them in a dumpster at the South Windsor Volunteer Fire Department Company,  said South Windsor Police Sergeant Mark Cleverdon.

It was determined that Bushey was subcontracted by FedEx to deliver the packages and failed to do so, he said.

Additionally, one of the packages that did not get delivered was a supply of medicine for a 6-year-old, Cleverdon said.

Bushey was taken into custody and processed and released on a $50,000 surety bond.

She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday, June 9.
